Artemisia Annua extract, 60% DMSO, 100 ml

Annual mugwort, also known as Artemisia annua, is a plant from the Asteraceae family and the Artemisia genus. The Artemisia annua DMSO from ARTEMISIUM is a strong "Forte" product with increased effectiveness. For 100ml DMSO we use 40g Artemisia annua. DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) allows the active ingredients of Artemisia annua to penetrate even better and deeper into the skin.

DMSO is known for its ability to dissolve and bind not only water-soluble but also fat-soluble substances. It is also well tolerated by all body tissues. DMSO is able to penetrate biological membranes very well, which makes it very suitable not only for optimally dissolving and absorbing the ingredients of plants, for example, but also for transporting them into the body.

ARTEMISIUM Artemisia annua DMSO is supplied in an amber glass bottle with a dropper insert.

Our Artemisia annua DMSO is produced over a period of 6 to 8 weeks using a gentle cold extraction process. This preserves all the ingredients, as the artemisinin contained in Artemisia annua is very sensitive to heat and can lose its effectiveness during hot extraction.
 

We attach great importance to protecting our products in the best possible way in order to extend their shelf life. In addition, a glass bottle is not only of higher quality, but also much more sustainable than those made of plastic. We are therefore taking a big step in the right direction and making a significant contribution to the environment. As the amber glass bottle is dishwasher-safe, you can reuse it at any time and fill it with your own herbal oils, for example. However, if you do not wish to do this, you can of course dispose of the bottle in the amber glass container.

Important note on application:
Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is not a dietary supplement, but an undiluted solvent. Please follow the instructions in the literature. Careful application is required as substances dissolved in DMSO can quickly penetrate the skin. It is also possible that skin irritation may occur. DMSO is not approved for internal use.

Free of artificial or chemical additives

We do not use any artificial additives in our products. As a matter of principle, we do not use gelatine, magnesium stearate or microcrystalline cellulose. Any capsule shells used are purely plant-based. Our products are manufactured without chemical preservatives, genetic engineering, flavorings or colorings.

The plant substances contained in Artemisia annua are said to have a number of positive properties that are the subject of numerous studies and research. Due to the Health Claims Regulation in force in the EU, we are unfortunately prohibited from making health claims about the possible effects. We therefore recommend that you inform yourself on the Internet and seek advice from a pharmacy or alternative practitioner of your choice.

Note for further use

The sale of Artemisia annua as a food or food supplement is currently not permitted within Germany or the EU. The reason for this is the EU Novel Food Regulation from 2015, which regulates the import and sale of products that were only sold in small quantities in Europe before May 15, 1997.

However, Artemisia annua (annual mugwort) itself is not affected by this ban and has not been classified as harmful to health. The cultivation, sale and processing of the plant are therefore not prohibited. What is currently prohibited, however, is the designation and marketing of Artemisia annua as a "food supplement" within the EU.

The Artemisia annua processed or offered by us is a pure plant raw material, expressly without intended use (no food and no food ingredient)! Please bear this in mind when using/processing the raw material.
