Our Artemisia annua plants are of the highest quality and are carefully selected to ensure they are healthy and vigorous. With their fine foliage and distinctive fragrance, they will not only be a visual asset to your garden, but also a valuable addition to your herb beds.
It is important to note that Artemisia annua does not tolerate frost. Therefore, the plant should only be moved outside when the temperatures no longer fall below freezing at night. This will ensure that your plant thrives optimally and is not affected by frost damage.
When planting your Artemisia annua, you should choose a sunny location with well-drained soil. Make sure that the plant has enough space to spread out, as it can grow up to 200 cm tall and reach a diameter of up to 100 cm. Regular watering is important, especially during dry periods, but make sure the soil doesn't get too wet to avoid waterlogging.
Artemisia annua is known for its hardy nature and low maintenance requirements. Nevertheless, we recommend regular checks for pests and diseases to ensure the health of your plant. Please note that Artemisia annua is particularly popular with slugs and snails, so appropriate protective measures may be required.
With a little love and care, your Artemisia annua will become a valuable part of your garden, providing not only an aesthetic asset but also the opportunity to benefit from its many uses in herbal medicine.

The sale of Artemisia annua as a food or food supplement is currently not permitted within Germany or the EU. The reason for this is the EU Novel Food Regulation from 2015, which regulates the import and sale of products that were only sold in small quantities in Europe before May 15, 1997.
However, Artemisia annua (annual mugwort) itself is not affected by this ban and has not been classified as harmful to health. The cultivation, sale and processing of the plant are therefore not prohibited. What is currently prohibited, however, is the designation and marketing of Artemisia annua as a "food supplement" within the EU.
The Artemisia annua processed or offered by us is a pure plant raw material, expressly without intended use (no food and no food ingredient)! Please bear this in mind when using/processing the raw material.
