Artemisia Annua oil forte 100 ml - Care oil

Annual mugwort, also known as Artemisia annua, is a plant from the Asteraceae family and the Artemisia genus. ARTEMISIUM's Artemisia annua oil is a strong "forte" product with increased effectiveness. For 100ml of olive oil we use 40g of Artemisia annua.

ARTEMISIUM Artemisia annua massage oil FORTE is supplied in a high-quality violet glass bottle, also known as a mironglass. Artemisia annua oil moisturizes the skin, combats wrinkles and supports the skin's cell function. It also protects the skin from harmful UV rays and can therefore prevent skin ageing, but is of course no substitute for sun protection.

Our Artemisia annua oil is produced over a period of 6 to 8 weeks using a gentle cold extraction process. This preserves all the ingredients, as the artemisinin contained in Artemisia annua is very sensitive to heat and can lose its effectiveness during hot extraction.

The glass bottle is sealed with a glass pipette with black rubber and a gold cap. The almost black-looking violet glass and the golden cap create an incomparably elegant look.

Even amber glass offers a high level of protection against light. Violet glass protects even better against ultraviolet radiation in sunlight and absorbs most of it. This means that the ointment in the glass jar is optimally protected from light and helps to preserve the color, smell and properties of the ingredients of this natural product.

We attach great importance to protecting our products in the best possible way to extend their shelf life. In addition, a glass bottle is not only of higher quality, but also much more sustainable than plastic bottles. We are therefore taking a big step in the right direction and making a significant contribution to the environment. As the violet glass bottle is dishwasher-safe, you can reuse it at any time and fill it with homemade herbal oils, for example. However, if you do not wish to do this, you can of course dispose of the bottle in the green glass container.

Free of artificial or chemical additives

We do not use any artificial additives in our products. As a matter of principle, we do not use gelatine, magnesium stearate or microcrystalline cellulose. Any capsule shells used are purely plant-based. Our products are manufactured without chemical preservatives, genetic engineering, flavorings or colorings.

Health aspects

The plant substances contained in Artemisia annua are said to have a number of positive properties that are the subject of numerous studies and research. Due to the Health Claims Regulation in force in the EU, we are unfortunately prohibited from making health claims about the possible effects. We therefore recommend that you inform yourself on the Internet and seek advice from a pharmacy or alternative practitioner of your choice.

Note for further use

The sale of Artemisia annua as a food or food supplement is currently not permitted within Germany or the EU. The reason for this is the EU Novel Food Regulation from 2015, which regulates the import and sale of products that were only sold in small quantities in Europe before May 15, 1997.

However, Artemisia annua (annual mugwort) itself is not affected by this ban and has not been classified as harmful to health. The cultivation, sale and processing of the plant are therefore not prohibited. What is currently prohibited, however, is the designation and marketing of Artemisia annua as a "food supplement" within the EU.

The Artemisia annua processed or offered by us is a pure plant raw material, expressly without intended use (no food and no food ingredient)! Please bear this in mind when using/processing the raw material.
