Artemisia Annua care oil with 20% DMSO, 100 ml

Annual mugwort, also known as Artemisia annua, is a plant from the Asteraceae family and the Artemisia genus. ARTEMISIUM's Artemisia annua oil is a strong “forte” product with increased effectiveness. For 100ml of olive oil / DMSO we use 20g of Artemisia annua.

The ARTEMISIUM Artemisia annua care oil with 20% DMSO is supplied in a high-quality black glass bottle. Artemisia annua oil with 20% DMSO moisturizes the skin, combats wrinkles and supports the skin's cell function. It also protects the skin from harmful UV rays and can therefore prevent skin ageing, but is of course no substitute for sun protection. This care product is also good for treating inflammation or scars as well as eczema, fissures and many other skin conditions, as it helps the tissue to regenerate. The DMSO contained in the product transports the active ingredients of Artemisia Annua and olive oil even better and deeper into the tissue, allowing them to work even more effectively.

Apply a few drops of Artemisia Annua care oil to the affected skin area several times a day and massage it into the skin with clean fingers. Under no circumstances should you use rubber gloves, a brush or other plastic aids that are not expressly DMSO-resistant. PP, PE, HDPE, LDPE or POM are DMSO-resistant.

Our Artemisia annua oil and the Artemisia annua DMSO used for this product are produced over a period of at least 8 weeks using a gentle cold extraction process. This preserves all the ingredients, as the artemisinin contained in Artemisia annua is very sensitive to heat and can lose its effectiveness during hot extraction.

The glass bottle is closed with a vertical dropper and a lid with a tamper-evident closure. The almost black-looking violet glass and the golden cap create an incomparably elegant look. All plastic parts (lid and dropper) are DMSO-resistant.

That's why we chose a glass bottle.

Even amber glass offers a high level of protection against light. Black glass protects even better against UV radiation in sunlight and absorbs most of it. This means that the ointment in the glass jar is optimally protected from light and helps to preserve the color, smell and properties of the ingredients in this natural product.

We attach great importance to protecting our products in the best possible way to extend their shelf life. In addition, a glass bottle is not only of higher quality, but also much more sustainable than plastic bottles. We are therefore taking a big step in the right direction and making a significant contribution to the environment. As the glass bottle is dishwasher-safe, you can reuse it at any time and fill it with homemade herbal oils, for example. However, if you don't want to do this, you can of course dispose of the bottle in the green glass container.

Free from artificial or chemical additives

We do not use any artificial additives in our products. As a matter of principle, we do not use gelatine, magnesium stearate or microcrystalline cellulose. Any capsule shells used are purely plant-based. Our products are manufactured without chemical preservatives, genetic engineering, flavorings or colorings.

Health aspects

The plant substances contained in Artemisia annua are said to have a number of positive properties that are the subject of numerous studies and research. Due to the Health Claims Regulation in force in the EU, we are unfortunately prohibited from making health claims about the possible effects. We therefore recommend that you inform yourself on the Internet and seek advice from a pharmacy or alternative practitioner of your choice.

Note on further use

The sale of Artemisia annua as a food or food supplement is currently not permitted within Germany or the EU. The reason for this is the EU Novel Food Regulation from 2015, which regulates the import and sale of products that were only sold in small quantities in Europe before May 15, 1997.

However, Artemisia annua (annual mugwort) itself is not affected by this ban and has not been classified as harmful to health. The cultivation, sale and processing of the plant are therefore not prohibited. What is currently prohibited, however, is the designation and marketing of Artemisia annua as a “food supplement” within the EU.

The Artemisia annua processed or offered by us is a pure plant raw material, expressly without intended use (no food and no food ingredient)! Please bear this in mind when using/processing the raw material.
